Scott: Ideally, we are looking for a three bedroom and two bathroom house. Although we would be happy for a three bedroom one bathroom house.
Host: Okay. So, you are flexible on the bathrooms?
Host: Do you want something that’s older or newer open plan?
Scott: Not too fussed at the moment, open plan would be nice. A newer house would be nice as well. But I understand that if there’s an older house that becomes available, we would be more than happy to look at that as well.
Host: So you are prepared to do a little bit of work?
Host: Okay. How about car accommodation?
Scott: Not too fussed on that to be honest. We’ve got two cars so one or two spots would be fine.
Host: Yup. And one living area is okay?
Host: Yup. What areas are you ideally looking at?
Scott: Eastern suburbs mainly, so at the moment, Bayswater, Boronia, Croydon, Croydon South, Kilsyth.
Lauren: Bayswater North, Ferntree Gully
Scott: Upper Ferntree Gully.
Host: So you’re pretty widespread.
Scott and Lauren: Yes.
Host: That’s good. And when are you hoping to be in by? Are you flexible on settlement dates?
Scott: Yes, we are. We at the moment live at the back of Lauren’s parent’s house. So we are ready to go pretty much so we can do 30 days or 60 days or 90 days settlement.
Host: Fantastic. And you’re pre-approved?
Scott: We are.
Host: That’s great! Okay. Roughly, for the right place, what price bracket are you looking in ideally?
Scott: Max should be around about $500,000 mark. So, anything under that would be a bonus.
Lauren: $450,000 to $500,000 depending on what we think about the house.
Host: Yes and what sort of work that needs to be done.
Scott: Yes. Correct.
